Whale Watch Kaikoura
Whale Watching tours just 90 minutes away, down the coast at Kaikoura. On the way, stop and see the seals resting on the rocks and enjoying the sun on their backs. If you have time, take a 15 minute walk up a side stream and meet up with the seal cubs, who for safety reasons have been hidden away, by their mothers, from the large bull seals.

Molesworth Tours
During the summer months the toll road through the high country of Molesworth Station is open to the public. This road is un-sealed and is best suited for vehicles with a high wheel clearance. A self drive tour will take you back to the difficulties encounter by the pioneers as they tried to travel the length of the South Island.

The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is a world class museum of static and flyable aircraft, dating back to WW1 circa and is a must do activity.
It is advertised as the best aviation museum in the world, (it's got to be close).

Brayshaw Park
Brayshaw Heritage Park is a unique park occupying several acres of attractive parkland near Blenheim’s south-west boundary. Established in 1968, the Park is home to a number of organisations including -

- The Vintage Car Club of NZ (Inc) Marlborough Branch
- Marlborough Associated Modellers Inc
A number of other Marlborough Clubs and Societies are also based at the Park, including the local Rock & Mineral Club, Riverside Railway, Creative Fibre Guild, Genealogy Society, Woodworkers’ Guild, Havelock Lodge 104, Marlborough Choral Society, Marlborough Poultry and Pigeon and Cage Bird Club. All these groups hold regular meetings and events to which visitors are always welcome.
